Upon visiting Puerto Aventuras from Seattle, Washington back in 2008; my wife and I were immediately struck by its beauty and communal feeling. We instantly felt a sense of peace and tranquility. After nearly 20 years of marriage, we had never discussed what retirement life would look like for us both. Knowing very well that we had to reside somewhere that affords us Washingtonians consistent sunshine and culture; we thought to ourselves, why not Puerto Aventuras (PA)?
Consequently, we sourced Sally Wood Evans contact information off of a billboard around town. Unfortunately, we were leaving that day and I called Sally once we returned to Seattle. I instantly felt comfortable with Sally as I began researching apartment units for sale albeit quite a far distance from PA. Sally demonstrated her vast real estate experience and specific knowledge of the PA real estate market. Moreover, I felt that Sally was more interested in insuring PA was the right fit for us versus "closing a sale".
Throughout the process, Sally embraced our lifestyle objectives and equally important, our affordability budget. This resolute focus was instrumental in building the trust we had developed in Sally. We finally narrowed in on the "Secret Waters" property when Sally rang us to stress that we give another property - Punta Roca - serious consideration although it was beyond our budget. She had a conviction that it was a better fit and value for the money. Even though we had some hesitation, and somewhat questioned her motives; we recounted the many ways that Sally had our interests at heart and we therefore, ended up making an offer on a unit at Punta Roca - over the telephone and sight unseen!
This is truly a testament to Sally's integrity, expertise, and confidence that she bestows in her clients. After nearly 10 years, we strongly believe that Punta Roca is the best decision we could have made, and is clearly a blessing in our lives! Puerto Aventuras is now a part of our lives and that of our children. This property will be in our family for decades to come!"
